Foggy night in Vienna 2009-11-21

Walking through Vienna on a foggy night and paying the "Christkindlmarkt" as short Visit

Like any other good tour in Vienna we start at Stephansplatz. Then on the "Graben" and "Kohlmarkt" towards the Hofburg, but unfortunately this evening there was a police barricade because of some kind of dangerous demonstration (so I've heard). So we had to walk through the first district until we reached the Burgtheater with the Town Hall and the famous Christkindlmarkt on the opposite side of the Ringstraße.

At the Christkindlmarkt we browse the nice little shops with candy, booze and art and obligatorily grab a cup of "Glühwein" to feel the real pre-christmas spirit

Then we continue to the Natural History Museum and take a look at the closed (!) outer "Burgtor".
