Description

Imagine an over 500 meter long train with more than 700 people on board going through 18 European countries to explore the European spirit, meet friends and have fun together... IT'S REAL! - and called ESNtrain.

The ESNtrain is an inimitable communication platform in which will be a lot of time to get in contact with people from other countries, learn something about different cultures and have a good and peaceful time in a special atmosphere. Activities will be organised at the various train stops. Some examples are city tours, workshops, sportive activities like Inline Skating or River Rafting or concerts. In addition to the daytime programme, the evening activities on the train are a second pillar of this project. Such activities are for example dance courses, language courses, games, presentations or workshops. These events give the not visited countries and sections a good chance to present themselves.

You can book every part of the journey. From only a night to the whole 3 weeks is everything possible. Costs are 30 Euros per night in a 6-bed compartment, including the nights in the sleeper, the transport and breakfast plus once 20 € registration fee.

The organisation behind ESNtrain is ESN, short for Erasmus Student Network. It is a European wide non-profit student organisation that supports exchange students and consists of 12.000 members in more than 285 sections all throughout Europe.
